((Nuu she can’t die. The story was never resolved ;n;))

( Maybe the resolution is her death… In that case, Bowser can always have a new body to through in the dungeons or something. -shrugs- )

.

[ Crawling, crawling, crawling. And to nowhere.

She had no idea what was to lie ahead of her, but she just knew that she couldn’t go back. She couldn’t go back to him.

Somehow, she managed to scramble out of the horrid, unsanitary cell that was to enslave her forever. She didn’t know how, she just did. She was sick and tired of seeing the rats scamper by her feet, and the bugs to be buzzing quietly in her ear when she tried to sleep… But how was sleeping possible? She was so afraid of losing everything so that she stayed up all hours of the night, hoping that the Koopa tyrant wouldn’t come in and shove her into death.

So, here she was, crawling on the ground like someone who had lost all mobility in their legs.

She was still covered in dried blood, from her arms to her legs; hands and feet. Her face was practically a giant scar — a reminder that Bowser was still after her and Luigi. Her shoulders ached every time that she moved, and they sent a sharp pain throughout her body every time that she crawled farther, but she was too tired to even squeal in pain. The burnt skin only stung a tiny bit, and she was quite relieved for that to have happened, but it didn’t make up for the other pain flowing throughout her body.

Gasping, she finally crawled back to a dark, dirty corner of a caved in building, and fell over on her shoulder, causing a small crack to be heard once she did so. ]

Nnngh…

[ But she couldn’t scream now. Where had he gone? She had seen him not so long ago, and he was her ticket to freedom. The only thing that she remembered and loved, and he wasn’t there. He wasn’t there to witness the flower Princess dying in the broken building alone. Even if she was dying, she was a bit happy that he wasn’t there. She didn’t want him to see her like this, but she couldn’t help it. She wanted the attention — needed the attention that she wasn’t getting. She was like that toy that you no longer cared about.

It wasn’t long before she slowly blinked her eyes and shed a tear; then another, and another. Soon, she was silently sobbing alone in the cold darkness of the building and felt like a prisoner. She was trapped in a hell that she could no longer escape and she hated it. She hated all of this, and no matter how much she wanted to fight back, she just couldn’t. She was too weak and timid; she took the green-clad plumber’s role.

After a few minutes of tears, her eyes finally closed shut, as she curled up into a ball. Her body still heaved up and down, and it soon squirmed back farther into the corner, so that she had something to hold onto in the darkness of the night.

Where was he? Luigi… ]

(Bowser reacted negatively to both the spit in his direction as well as the reiteration that he forced Peach to marry him. Of course, the tyrant very well knew that she was taken all by his brute strength. But that only made Bowser feel more into control and that he could manipulate anyone by force. That was his signature after all.)

image

Hmph…

I honestly don’t know what else to tell you, flowerhead. But I’m pretty sure you get the picture now…

This whole kingdom is practically at their knees by yours truly, and the only one who can stop me is…well…no one, actually! Grah ha ha ha!!!

(Bowser laughed at his own joke, even if it wasn’t really funny to begin with.)

With my men continuing their ubiquity around the Mushroom Kingdom, it’ll only be a matter of time before Green Stache’ is captured. Maybe if he’s lucky, I’ll throw em’ into the dungeon with you and the both of ya can spend your final moments together…

Heh…now wouldn’t that be sweet?

(Turning around, the Koopa king was ready to make his exit and leave Daisy to suffer in the dungeon. At that moment, he turned his head towards the princess and smirked.)

I’ll be back pretty soon, my lil’ princess. And when I do, you’d BETTER make a choice by then. Concerning Luigi…

Ya either squeal…or I’ll personally seal the deal. Once again, it’s your choice. Do as you may, but as they say…

Life is nothing but a catch-22. It’s either I win…or you lose.

(Chuckling, Bowser made his way out of the cell and ordered two Koopatrols to guard the area. He wanted them to keep an eye on Daisy, of course. In the meantime, the turtle tyrant would be reorganizing his troops on the field in hopes of sniffing out Mario’s younger sibling…)

[As Bowser finally left, the woman heaved a sigh of relief and shook her head. But, her sigh was shaky and cold, and it was as if there was no life in her anymore. She was just a living corpse, falling apart at the seams. A rag doll, that had been tossed around and flung against the walls, with no one to care about it. Lost toys that soon seemed to have no purpose in the real world anymore, lost and broken, without anyone to care about them anymore. She didn’t like it, but she knew that she was going to have to live with it, one way or another. She didn’t have a choice to be normal, or to fit in ever again, she just wanted out of here, and she wanted to be loved.

But, she was a misfit.

A misfit that no one could ever love in that kind of way unless they some how happened to prove it. An unloved misfit, how wonderful. How charming, how beautiful, oh how everyone loved the unwanted misfits. In every movie she ever saw the odd one out always got the satisfaction of everyone loving them, every single person. They always saved the day, and they always got what they wanted, and it all ended ‘Happily Ever After’, right, RIGHT? She pounded her fist against the cold, hard ground, not caring that it made yet another cut and blood slowly began dripping from it. She pounded even a few more times, before she finally stopped and drifted off before falling down on her side. And she couldn’t help but cry some more.

Why was she so weird and unloveable? She didn’t do anything wrong. This wasn’t how everything was supposed to be.

She would never get that ‘Happily Ever After’. They never existed, they were just lies, more lies in which she hated.

And what she hated the most was that Koopa. She wanted to smack him right across the face when he made a joke about keeping her and Luigi locked up in the same cell before killing them off. Oh, the humiliation. Yes, she did want to be with Luigi, and she loved him so much—and that tyrant went and made a joke out of it. She knew that he never experienced love the way she did, never. Even if it was loving someone from afar, she knew that he didn’t. She assumed that Peach was in the same problem as her, only she was treated with more quality, being the new Queen, but Daisy had a feeling that she wanted out of this too. But, at least Peach was treated fairly and royally, no matter how much she kicked and screamed.

Daisy was only beaten and burned for it. It wasn’t fair.

Scooting off and turning her head a bit, she began to shed tears, something that the misfit had been doing ever since this whole thing had happened. She could feel her heart crack in two, but for some reason she just couldn’t feel sorrow for herself. Fate had brought her this, fate had chosen her to be a unloved misfit, fate had done all of this. Maybe, it was fate that she hated most, but then again, fate had also kept Luigi alive with her, and it even gave her the chance to remember him. Fate was another thing that she didn’t know to hate or love; trust, or not trust. This was all so confusing, but she didn’t care. She just continued to shed hot tears that went streaming down her face, and then they would fall on the floor, all together and in a group.

At least they weren’t misfits.]

…I-I’ll never be n-normal

Heh…you really got a lot of nerve and gut in ya, Daisy. I admire that…

image

You’re not like Peach who submitted to me so early…she would’ve died easily if I were to put her through the torture that you’re undergoing, “Miss Daisy”. But you were always the tomboy, after all.

(Bowser shook his head and chuckled, knowing that it wouldn’t do her any good in the long run. At least, that’s as far as the Koopa king knew. Bowser was practically assured that he had enough control to be invincible. Walking up closer to Daisy, he knelt down with a big thud as he tapped his chin nonchalantly.)

I gotta admit, I was a fool to have you as one of the remaining survivors to this day. Ha ha ha…to think…

I’m pretty sure you would have had more of a chance defeating me than that green coward, eh? After all, the guy did nothing but hide in Mario’s shadow all day…and now that he’s dead, Green Stache’s got no one to run to…

(Bowser chuckled mischievously and shook his head again. He then began to talk in a more mocking tone.)

Poor plumber…all of his “protectors” are gone now! It’s time for em’ to really man up…

(Looking at Daisy directly in the face, Bowser put on the nastiest grin that he could muster.)

I think he needs you more than you need him…

(Throwing his head back, Bowser began to laugh maniacally once more which echoed throughout the halls of his keep. He then turned around to continue laughing as the tyrant practically mocked the whole Mushroom Kingdom. And he made sure that wherever Luigi was, he would hear it.)

I’ll go easy on the runt…but even so…

It won’t be pretty…

[As Bowser moved in closer towards the Princess, her head slowly moved back, but she still managed to keep eye contact with him. She knew that now, she had gotten the old her back, but only for a short amount of time until Bowser actually left her to rot in the dungeon. She knew then that she would probably weep silently to herself, thinking about all the horrible possibilities that could happen to Luigi if he were to come. She just couldn’t get him off of her mind, and right now, he was the most important thing to her. Though, he probably didn’t know it, deep inside, she really did long for him to come and rescue her, to become a true hero. But, still she managed to stay strong.]

…T-The only reason that Peach fell into you…

I-Is because you forced her to marry you.

You brute.

[And then she spit in his direction once more, feeling a bit empowered by it. She tried to show that she wasn’t afraid, even though, she dearly was. She just wanted to smack the King and run, run all the way back to the hillside and never stop. Leaving behind this mess of a Kingdom and practically feeling to no where, but even if she did that, which she couldn’t, she still had a feeling that the Koopa would still manage to find her hanging around there. But, soon her fearful loneliness became to consume her as he bent down close, so she could feel his hot breath sweeping over her cuts. She flinched and looked away, only allowing one tear to slip out of her eye and onto her arm, where it dried into a cut, and mometerally gave her a small, stinging pain all over.

But then, he turned the tables. He said that Luigi needed her, when obviously she needed him. If she were the old, spunky Princess that she used to be, she would’ve put up more of a fight, now she was crying and dying, and she didn’t do a thing about it. He was the leader of the two now, and she had depended on him all of her life in this horrid world that they were living in. She hated it, all of it, and just wanted things to go back to the way they were, but she couldn’t have that either. She couldn’t have anything she wanted now, even if it was as simple as a nice moment with the one she cared for most, even if they were dying, and chained up together, she couldn’t even have that.

She couldn’t have anything that she wanted anymore, and no one cared about her. She couldn’t at least have one person that would be sad about her death.

Not a single soul, and it hurt. It hurt so much.

She didn’t respond to his other statements, though. She just wanted to say something like ‘Just get out of my face’ but she didn’t have the courage to do so. Her wimpy form began to rush over her once again, as the tears kept piling higher and higher. It wasn’t Bowser who was breaking her, it was herself. She kept telling herself all these things about when no one cared about anything she did anymore, and the thoughts kept coming faster and faster even if they didn’t make any sense. She just wanted it gone, she wanted to scream and bang her head against the wall, causing pain and sorrow upon herself to make herself stop everything, but she couldn’t.

What Bowser didn’t know was that she was in another problem than him almost killing her and everyone she loved. The problem was her twisted mind. Getting damanged and destroyed after everything had happened. But, she didn’t know any better.]

I—…

[And then she stuck her finger in a small pool of blood beside her.

Warm.]

And make it snappy, runt! “Waste not, want not”…

image

(Bowser turned around but wasn’t about ready to leave the dungeon. Keeping his distance between himself and Daisy, the disgruntled Koopa king had his back towards them, angrily stomping his foot in a “I’m waiting” fashion. He constantly shot glances back at the princess to make sure she wasn’t trying to do anything funny. Bowser then began to talk aloud.)

We got a BIG day ahead of us for tomorrow! Soon enough, the Hammer Bros. engineers should be done fixing up those new tanks for us.

At that point, we can steamroll the pathetic kingdom to the ground and prevent ANYONE from hiding anymore. And when that’s accomplished…

The GREATEST kingdom will rise from the ground and replace the miserable pile of shrooms that were there initially. All this land…and all this power.

(Of course, the tyrant wasn’t really going to build a new kingdom by himself. As usual, he would get the Koopa Troop to do all the work for him, and when it’s finally finished, he’ll take the credit, no doubt. Bowser giggled like a little, trouble-making child at the thought of that.)

Oh…and then, we’ll have those airships ready to set sail through the skies. Ha ha ha…I’ll use those to search out that green brat and soon enough, far away kingdoms will be invaded by yours truly.

Soon, the whole world will bow down before Bowser…

ARE YOU JUST ABOUT DONE YET!?

“Y-Yes, sir! O-Of course…”

(The Magikoopa bandaged up the various wounds Daisy had as well as cleaned off her blood. However, he didn’t know if that would do much, seeing that Bowser beat her up pretty badly. Sheepishly turning towards the turtle tyrant, the Magikoopa wearily put a thumbs up.)

“She’s…a-all ready, your Nastiness…”

image

Good! Now make like a tree and get outta here!!…

“Y-Yes, Lord Bowser…”

(The Magikoopa hurriedly ran away and didn’t look at Bowser when he left. Feeling satisfied, the Koopa king walked back to Daisy and looked at her with a sinister face on.)

Consider yourself lucky to be in this situation, shrimp…

If you don’t want to tell me where Luigi is, it’ll make the matter easier on ya. Maybe I’ll really spare your life in the end…

But if not, well…doesn’t really matter…for me.

At the rate the Koopa Troop is heading, we’ll have the whole kingdom scoped out. And even so, we’ll go to the ends of the Earth to finish off that remaining Mario bro.

Either way…I win.

[Still having her body turned towards the tyrant and the small turtle, who was at least trying to make an effort to please his boss, she let him clean and bandage her up, even though, it wouldn’t do much in the long run. Her blood spots were still sticking out, and now they were even more obvious to see with the white tape, wrapped all around her body. She was still a bit faint, and the small troopa didn’t really do a good job with cleaning her up. She still had faint red spots, which, of course, indicated where she was bleeding out pretty bad, and now she had scars from the places in which she was burned, but, of course, the troopa couldn’t do anything about that. But now, at least she could squirm around better, now that she was all taped back together once more, but she refused to. Really, she would’ve rather looked all beat up and bloody still (Not to mention the fact that she still did a bit) or at least looked like she was dead. That way, Luigi wouldn’t be tricked into coming for her, and like Bowser said she was just a worm in his clutches, just a stupid damsel in distress, and she was finally setting their conflict into motion at this point.

She was just the factor in the way.

She looked down at her pathetic excuse of a drawing, seeing how some of her warm blood, slowly running through her poorly wrapped around bandages and down her leg, was pouring all over it, fading it from her view. She could also see the rope, still tied together and now covered in her dry blood, and some spit as well. She shuddered at the thought of Bowser actually tutoring herself, which almost happened back there. She hadn’t stopped to actually think about what was going on until now, and for a moment she was a bit relieved to be bait, so she could spare her life, but only for now. But, that feeling soon faded away, and was replaced by worrying. She was worrying if Luigi was actually going to come to her rescue, only to be almost killed himself, and that was probably part of her torture as well. Luigi coming to her rescue, getting caught, and then she would have to st through his whole entire death scene, shaking in fear as everything would seem to be flashing through her eyes. Unless, Luigi could actually defeat him…But she didn’t know which part of her brain to trust.

She really didn’t know who to trust anymore. She didn’t even know if she could trust herself or not, and at that moment, she soon began to re-learn how important trust would be, but of course, she didn’t have to worry about that now. The only things on her mind where: If she was going to make it out alive, and if Luigi was going to be smart and not come for her at all. Even if he did, she knew that would probably get him to win her heart over forever, but he really had already done that, and he did that, by really not doing much. Just letting Daisy admire him from afar, before she could truly confess to him.

Which seemed like it would never come in a million years.

But, her wet eyes slowly shifted towards the King who was know explaining all his plans out loud. She frowned upon each and everyone of them, especially the ones about finding Luigi and crushing him. Even though she was still a Princess, she really had no say in this, and couldn’t do much but glare up at him and growl. Only, it was a low growl that really no one could hear but her; she knew that he would probably flip out if he had heard it, and she didn’t need a Koopa weighing a million tons to be screaming right in her face. That would only make her cry more. But then, she coughed, but not a cough that just came naturally. It was a cough that was in a rather mocking tone, or at least, one could tell.]

…Y-You’ll never win.

[And then she hugged her poorly-bandaged, blood-stained legs closer, glaring up at him.]
